Are there any fees for selling on Mercury Shopping?
No, Mercury doesn’t charge our partners fees or take a cut from their sales like other retailers do. We operate on the wholesale cost model, meaning we pay our Vendors the base cost of their items, and we set a retail price that’s fair and competitive.
What if I have questions after I get started?
We’ve built out an extensive library of help content available throughout the site, plus can email or Virtual meet anytime. We have dedicated support teams ready to answer any questions you have about the onboarding process and beyond.
How does Mercury set a fair Retail Price?
Mercury uses a dynamic pricing system that continuously learns about optimum prices and adjusts them. We strive to set a level playing field so that similar products have uniform margins. Our partners’ wholesale base costs are a major component of the retail formula. Shipping costs, inventory positioning, incident rates, and other factors will also impact retail pricing.
Can I sell on Mercury if I am outside the USA?
Yes! We work with sellers from around the world. You can list and sell your products on the Mercury website, as long as you meet the minimum requirements. Products currently can only be shipped within the continental US.
Do I need a Distribution Center?
No, Mercury Shopping runs on what is called a "Drop Ship" model.....what this means is that when a customer purchases your product on the site, you or your designee will receive a shipping label. Your Product(s) MUST be shipped with 24 - 48hrs after receiving the order/label.
